Sneak Peeks - ssshh

I have started running papercraft classes at home, a nice small group of 4-6 people and a great opportunity to get together & have a chat, a cuppa and a bit of crafting :-) PLUS as an added bonus, all class attendees are entitled to a 10% discount on any SU products used on the day.

I thought it would be nice to let you have a sneak peek of the type of projects that will be included.....
This exploding box was inspired by an online class from Stamp With Us - particularly the contents (see below) which reminded me of a few ideas I had seen before but never got round to trying out - until now :-)

A colleague of mine is about to begin her maternity leave, so this will make a nice leaving card/pressie for her - and she doesn't know about my blog (yet) so I won't be spoiling any surprises!

This is a cute little set of note cards with matching "no-cut" box/bag to store them in. The set uses some of my favourite SU products - Oval all stamps, Oval & Scalloped Oval punches and Scalloped Border punch.
Classes are being held once a month, either a saturday afternoon or a weekday evening - usually around the middle of the month. Please contact me if you'd like more information or to book your place.

What better way to get started than by sharing my entry for the Stamp with Us weekly challenge..

This week's challenge is to create a birthday themed item using at least one SU product. I created this birthday card for a special friend's daughter and I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. I just love the way the SU colours coordinate so easily - in fact I'm clearing out the inks and other colouring stuff I've accumulated over the years so that I can have SU colours for all my supplies. Yay! :-)

Anyway, here's my card - hope you like it...

Whisper White & Tempting Turquoise cardstock
Tempting Turquoise ink
Stamps from Petal Pizzazz & A Bit of Birthday Cheer stamp sets
Scalloped Circle & 1 1/4" Circle punches

Patterned paper is from Prima "Flirty Little Secret" collection.
